Claire Hardwick-Wilson is a successful contemporary artist and marblist living in Surrey. Her work is displayed in galleries and luxury properties throughout the United Kingdom. We are pleased to show her work.
“Adventures from Moscow to Zanzibar have inspired me and are reflected in my paintings; the beauty of exotic flowers, the twists in the bark of a Frangipani tree, the way nature unfolds during different seasons and the forever changing sea and sky.”
Claire’s work is influenced by the diversity of nature and its complex and beautiful colours. Her technique involves building texture using palette knives, and a use of vivid colours brings a strong sense of identity and uniqueness to her work. Fortunate enough to spend a childhood growing up in the South of France and Portugal, later in Rome and beyond, Claire’s work is influenced by the diversity and complexity of nature.
Her technique of using a palette knife to build texture and her use of vivid colours bring a strong sense of identity and uniqueness to her work. Claire creates canvases for individual clients, galleries and commercial projects from her studio outside London.
